In the interim, is it possible for the system to generate a prompt notifying the user that their session is about to expire? It is now common with many sites to notify users that their sessions will be terminated for inactivity.
Thank you,
Agree that this is disruptive to productivity and very frustrating for users. Need this for PAx users.
We specifically would need it for PAx.
Our users would like the ability to stay logged in for a longer period of time as well. It is disruptive to their productivity.
This is big change for our customers as it impacts our users. We would need the time-out setting to be configurable or it should revert to 24 hours.
This is a big deal for our customers as well since IBM changed this in v61. They are now subject to re-logging on constantly throughout thier work day. Please fix/undo this IBM!!!
As an administrator/system owner, I actively monitor PAA to check on system activity.
Trying to remember to register an activity to prevent a logout or re-logging in every 30 minutes is not ideal.
I think having the ability to set the time out individually or company wide is the best compromise.
