Changed status to Not under consideration. Allowing consolidations without feeders is a longer term objective.
In a quick test I was able to add a new member as a child of a consolidation, add data to the cells that was created by adding the new member, and validate that feeders were still working correctly to consolidate data.
We will need more detail about the specific case where this behaviour can be reproduced. Even better would
1 - Version of TM1 Server/Planning Analytics?
2 - How is the new member being added to the dimension (hierarchy). With a Ti process? If so, which TI function? When I tested I simple created a new member as the child of a consolidation in the Architect dimension editor.
3 - ForceReevaluationOfFedCells parameter setting?
Specific steps or a testcase that demonstrates this issue would be appreciated.
