Hi Stuart,
I received two emails on this, one saying it was under review and one saying it was in future consideration. Can you clarify which it is in for me? It would be rather unfortunate if this change was put off. We really dont think it is a good course of action to only allow a TI process to read a file from the data directory for TM1. I cant see it being safe to allow multiple IDs from outside applications to have write access to the data directory folder.
I sincerely wish you would consider this sooner than later. This will be a major roadblock for us in moving to PAW.
Thank you,

Set to future consideration and promoted to new epic. Agreed that we need to normalize consumption of flat files from Planning Analytics Workspace and Architect. One option may be an enhancement to the PAA Agent to allow the upload directory to be configured or support for multiple directories.
Changed status to 'Under review'. We plan to address limitations regarding flat files as a TI data source in Planning Analytics Workspace within the next 18 months.
