Manage TM1 instance administration programatically (on cloud)

Currently on cloud, there is no way to manage the start/stop of TM1 servers programmatically. The only way to stop/start an instance is by going through PAW Administration or schedule an automatic restart by asking the cloud ops.

On premise, we have access on the TM1 data server and we can create some bat scripts and schedule the restarts.

We can even call these scripts from a TI which is not the case for PA on Cloud.

==> Start/Stop of TM1 servers can be automated.

A real case business scenario is the following :

Users want to create a new instance to simulate some data without asking an IT administrator.

If we can stop/start services programmatically, users will be able to ask for this through a TI.

We also have need of having this functionality as we create archive models on a rolling weekly basis which we physically move the database from one data directory to another and run it to look at a static copy as we go through our weekly planning processes. We achieve this today by using a combination of shell scripts to stop the service, move the files and then subsequently restart the services.

Yes, there is no way to schedule TM1 Server restart. We are doing it every month manually. It would be really helpful & reduce the overheads if this feature added to PAoC.
