TM1Crypt.exe in PA with PWD-Parameter like old TM1

I would appreciate a utility program for PA to set the password of a PA user without interactive user input (like TM1Crypt in TM1 10.2.2). With such a tool we can distribute new passwords within an automatic process.

For a better understanding of our needs: We have implemented a process which frequently generates new passwords for systems and technical users. These passwords are distributed automatically. Currently, this is also implemented for the TM1 users with administrator rights.

So, when I want to log in as an TM1-Admin in Architect, first I need to get the current password. Then after a certain time, the password will be changed automatically through the password distribution. At this point the tm1crypt tool will be used with the pwd parameter.

Now in PA the pwd parameter of tm1crypt is not available anymore so that our password distribution is not able to set the new password. Though the old password remains active. For security this would be a step backwards in our point of view.

    Changed status to Not under consideration. We are not planning any changes in the supporting programs for the current version of TM1 such as TM1RunTi and TM1Crypt. Our focus is on integration with user management and authentication instead of improving support for password management in TM1.
