Export as Text - View Definition Window

Currently we have a client that is doing ABC/Profitability where different stages of allocations occur. There are a number of different sub-processes that utilises customised views to enable the processing of each row in the caller process.

For debugging purposes, while developing the process, one needs to process a single row from the caller process to ensure that the correct view is created for the sub-process.

We had to access Architect, to actually view the definition of each view along the process, sub-process, etc. using Architect's 'Export as Text' window to trace any issues and make sure that each view is created correctly.

Although we aren't exporting data, the definition of each view, same as 'Export as Text' would be useful to confirm that each dimensions is using the correct subset/element/etc.

This idea is currently not under consideration for the IBM Planning Analytics roadmap. The idea may continue to receive votes and the IBM Planning Analytics product team may reevaluate the idea at a later date.
