After many years Hierarchy been introduced, still no sign of getting this to be supported in DBRW formula, and therefore PASS has a very limited support of hierarchy.
Looks like IBM wants to use Dynamic Quick Report to replace this functionality.
When will new formulas come out? Any timeline? I think that should work if it is compatible enough.
Note that this is being declined as we will not be overriding the existing functions but will instead be introducing new formulas.

Until they are enhanced to support hierarchies, there is an understandable reluctance in the client and developer community to spend any effort implementing hierarchies in current or future systems.
Yes please, this functionality has been in the pipe since the functionality was released. Until it is in place the hierarchy functionality has a much narrow use case as it's reporting options are much more limited.
