Enhance Create View which saves under 'Views'

I would like to be able to have parity with Architect with regard to creating views and storing them under the 'views' section of the content tree.

When you expand a cube in Planning Analytics Workspace, then right click 'views' in the content tree, you can create a view to store in the views section but you can't create it with the same flexibility as Architect. It doesn't open in cube viewer and it doesn't allow you to play around with layout. You can only pick the sets you want on each dimension, not even one member, just a set. If you click 'add new view', this gives me the flexibility I want for designing the view, but not the ability to store it under 'views' in the tree. I can only save as a tile in the Welcome page which isn't very accessible to others unless you know where to find it. Its easier if its stored in the content tree.

This idea is currently not under consideration. The idea can continue to accumulate votes and the IBM Planning Analytics team may reevaluate the idea at a later date.

Please note that you can save views from the PAW cube viewer back to TM1 Server. These are saved as MDX views only.

IBM may consider improvements to searching for views stored in PAW based on the TM1 database and cube that the view was sourced from.

Set to future consideration. Agreed that we need to do both of the following:

1 - Allow MDX based views to be written back to the TM1 database for use as the data source in a Ti process.

2 - Better present views saved in Workspace to users for use (reuse) in books..
