I feel that the current formatting options for an exploration in Workspace are limited and do not allow the creation of formatted financial views/statements.
The current conditional formatting and the "new" row header format do not provide the flexibility that would be required. Please see these screenshots:
The rows I'd like to format are these major totals (in yellow)
Conditional Format editor
Result of conditional formatting - only the values cells are formatted and not the row header. I need to format both.
Using "new" row header format, as per your link - this format all row headers
I need to be able to format the row header and cell of the row to highlight specific totals - currently this cannot be done.
It has been mentioned in the past that attribute based formatting was on the road map, is this still the case?
Suggestions:
Can the conditional formatting logic be applied to row/column headers and not just data cells i.e. an additional switch?
Attribute based formatting, so you can select the Row headers as a whole and then choose to format based on the value of an attribute and apply that format to data cells and/or headers.

Improvements to formatting on the cube viewer is part of the current Planning Analytics roadmap. We plan to improve the number of format features and also improve how formatting is applied.
