The Workspace Modeling Workbench supports MDX views as a data source. However, we do not support the concept of providing an MDX query as a data source. Rather, you must use the prolog procedure to define an MDX view (which can be temporary) as the data source. It's already common practice to build the MDX view with string concatenation in the prolog procedure using string parameters that reflect member and subset names.
