Need ability to download entire view in PAW. Paging is to slow to use effectively.

When editing large dimensions and attributes inside a PAW view the paging that takes place makes it difficult to quickly identify data and update it. Each time you scroll down using the scroll bar it takes 2 to 3 seconds to refresh the screen. Is it possible to add a button to the view object to force it to download the entire view instead of just the viewable area? This would make the user experience for editing large tables much more user friendly. It would also be useful for standard cube views. Today we have to use Excel because the paging is very frustrating.

    This idea is currently not under consideration.


    in 2018 we improved the PAW cube viewer to render much faster after scrolling. We are not planning on changing the pagination strategy for cube viewers in PAW. Even adding a button to allow the view to be optionally downloaded could have a significant impact to performance and resource requirements.
