Notification of timeouts via popup or connection indicator in PAx

Would like a more visual indication that you've been timed out from your connection in PAx as it's not easy to tell if you been disconnected. Perhaps a status indicator for when you are connected or disconnected in the menu, or at least a popup notification saying that you are either about to be disconnected or have already been disconnected.

This idea is currently not under consideration. The idea can continue to receive votes and the IBM Planning Analytics team may reevaluate the idea at a later date.

We are going to make the timeout period for Planning Analytics on Cloud configurable. We cannot check if the connection has timed out (doing this would prevent the timeout).

I agree with another comment about it being a fix. This is pretty standard most all other applications that have timeouts.

This should not be considered an enhancement - but a fix

Hi currently users don’t have a good experience with this because they perceive the product as crashing unresponsive or losing their data. Solving this would improve the user experience and the perception of planning analytics.

    Thanks!
