Zero Suppressionin TM1 Web

Hi there,

When a client uses both an excel formula and a DBRW to retrieve a value (across 2 different cells), zero suppression no longer works when the customer is using TM1 Web.

It would be highly valuable if Perspectives supported compound DBRW formulae, where the result of the DBRW() function is further modified by other calculations in the same cell (as with multiplying by -1).

Changed status to 'Will not implement'. The zero suppression feature of Planning Analytics is implemented in the view construction and MDX query mechanisms in the TM1 database. We have no plans to also implement zero suppression directly in the clients (Perspectives, TM1Web, and Workspace). When using DBRW in combination with other Excel functions ina cell the scope of the view is limited to only that single cell. This problem is simple to workaround by having all DBRW cells in the same area of the report (hidden rows and columns are supported) with no additional functions, and then using references to those DBRW cells that perform the additional calculations.
