Current versions of the new experience set editor do include support for drill up to traverse the hierarchy. I'm going to mark this idea as 'In development' as we are about to release some changes in Workspace 2.0.89 to dramatically improve the hierarchy traversal options. Both sides of the set editor will replace any drill options with 'Expand to' and 'Keep with'. These options will allow you to drill to children, descendants, parents, and ancestor, with or without the selected member.
This is a substantial button when using very large dimensions with many consolidations contained within. The "Default Member insertion" is no replacement for what was an important button for developers as well as end users. Please could you indicated when this will be available ? At time of writing it is not in PAfE 2.0.54.
