PAW - Homepage Notifications/Logo Customization

Allow customization of the welcome page to include notifications to users about system uptime/downtime/batch process notifications, etc.  Currently, we have several models which are connected to a single PAW production server, and we cannot provide adequate notification to our users if batch schedules are delayed or maintenance needs to occur.  Without this functionality users can attempt to login to a model through a specific report and then be subsequently met with data which may be inaccurate/incomplete or have login issues due to long running nightly data processing.

Also to note: A week ago i head a customer was asking for an obvious way to label their prod and dev environments via page title or logo. Rather than have user squint at the URL (error prone).

So if this RFE comes about, a full solution might include an easy to customise segment of the screen to make it easy to ID the environment.

This would be a great tool for both on-prem admins and for Cloud version where IBM supports the infrastructure.
PA customer typically have users in multiple time zones so a 'sticky' messaging system is valuable. Many of our competitors and consumer websites already have this .

Especially when it comes to maintenance weekends for PA on Cloud: We only email the reminder to a short list of customer admins. Often these fail to communicate the news of an upcoming downtime to users. These users then log a Sev 1 on a weekend, are tole the news and complain that no one warned them. If a warning began to appear whenever they log into one of the main UIs - tm1web, PAW then they'd see any important news of this nature.

Ultimately this concept should be extended to the other major PA UI - Planning Analytics for Excel .
