Planning Analytics Workspace Security

· Restrict custom host name (shared with host)


· Restrict custom domain name (shared with host)


· Disable container network namespace (shared with host)


· Use of valid, user owned UID/GIDs (UID namespace is shared with host)


· Must not attempt to do the following actions:


o NET_BIND_SERVICE: Capability for binding privileged ports ( < 1024) to sockets


o SETUID: Privilege escalation via filesystem executables with the setuid bit set


o SETGID: Privilege escalation via filesystem executables with the setgid bit set


· Prevent granting of capabilities


· Prevent custom devices


· The container's local filesystem must be mounted with the “nodev” flag


· Prevent custom DNS configuration


· Restricting root access within containers


· Restrict Docker build from running on Production hosts
