No plan to implement as suggested in this enhancement.
We do plan for a UI in Workspace that will allow security to be assigned to objects in TM1 databases. This could potentially involve assigning access to TM1 database objects using groups that exist in Workspace (a corresponding group would be created by Workspace in the TM1 database).
