IBM uses root account for everything which is a very unsecure way. Root should be used for emergency access to the system. All processes and everyday work should be done with dedicated accounts that have access only to what they need.
The fact that root enters the system over 7000 times a day makes it impossible to identify when unwanted access is taking place.
Normally any direct root log in should raise an alarm but with this solution that is just impossible as root is used for trivial tasks like to see if other nodes are still up.
Do not place IBM confidential, company confidential, or personal information into any field.
