Running a backup of 70 TB currently takes up around 14 hours which is a lot.
With fast backup storage backup could be completed in 2-3 hours.
Problem is that despite the CPDS system having 2x25Gb network it should be able to write backups at 50Gb/s but it isn't able to go above 7,8 Gb/s with MTU 1500 or 10,5 Gb/s with MTU 9000.
On the connector nodes despite having 2x100Gb the maximum you can get is 15,6 Gb/s with MTU 1500 or 21 Gb/s with MTU 9000.
In case TS010074524 IBM confirmed the problem is in the NPS code as streams are incorrectly creating ending up with a limit for the whole backup process regardless in how many streams data is being written.
