In our organization we have different sets of credentials for each of our Db2 for z/OS systems

We need to write Procs that will pull data from several Db2 for z/OS Systems.

This requires use to use the CONNECT TO command, but this calls for logging in repeatedly or putting the password in plain text in the PROC.

We request that the author of the PROC be allowed to enter a password but to then have the parser in the proc, hide the password or otherwise remove it from plain view. When stored in the QMF catalog or Repository Workspace the Proc or the password needs to be secured.
