Shape the future of IBM!
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Post ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Adding history from RFE-32426:
3.Davendra PaltooDec 1, 2017 6:29 AMSerge: As mentioned before, we have a line item on our roadmap (for longer term, think 4Q18) to support automatic refresh (internal load) by exporting the data at the source and transmitting it to the target over MQ. With that future design it will be possible to invoke a user supplied script at the source against the data selected from DB2 to do any codeset mapping/data cleansing, which is what I believe ICBC is doing today. We can call their existing script from Capture, after Capture selects the data from DB2.

IBM Response
Thank you for submitting this RFE. We think this request is valid and that improvements to Internal Load that we already have on our roadmap will help to address this requirement. Please contact the lab directly if you need more details.
1.Davendra PaltooOct 19, 2017 7:41 AMSerge: ties to fast internal load work item. We could provide a UE so the customer does the work for cleansing/manipulating the data.
Answer:
Redirect to the internal load feature where we would provide a user exit. Customer can ask lab for details.
