The "fraud status" entries in the case history table seems to draw the current fraud status assigned to a case close code and not the one that was valid when the case was actually closed (perhaps it isnt stored at all in the case). So when changing the fraudulent status of a display close code in the administraton, it changes the fraud status of all cases in the case history (closed cased) to match the one that is currenty assigned to the selected close code. This does actually modify your existing closed cases (if they were not archived and removed from SP already). While this probably doesnt happen often, it should not even possible that this happens. Should it not store the value itself?
Please also check SP1-I-161. It would be really helpful to all see not only the case close status (fraud;genuine;unknown) but also the corresponding text. That makes sense in all cases where you have more than on display code with the same status.
