IBM Data and AI Ideas Portal for Customers

This portal is to open public enhancement requests against products and services offered by the IBM Data & AI organization. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas

Post ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea

Multi challenger simulation

Multi challenger simulation

Currently
When simulating data we are limited to the current challenger and the champions of the other mandators levels of the hierarchical structure. When we modify a variable on Mandator0 , we can't simulate the impact on the Mandator1 to validate the modification (a Go-Live on Mandator0 is necessary before we can perform the simulation on Mandator1).
Either we have to add a temporary variable or we have to include those variables with their rules in a lower mandator.

Example
We want to modify a variable , which is defined in Mandator0 and used in Mandator1
We have to add a new variable on Mandator0 (we keep the old one in order to control the impacts) , we perform a Go-Live of Mandator0.
We then go to Mandator1 to test our simulations on the new variable
When the simulations are ok , we go back to Mandator0 to remove the old variable and make a GoLive

Drawback
When an evolution affect more than one Mandator level of the hierarchical structure, we can't simulate the results of this evolution all at once (or at all).
When adding a temporary variable , the space needed by SP is increased

Idea
Add a feature to be able to select other Mandator challengers.

Improvement
Reliability of the simulation used to test and validate challengers before going live.
