Index data lost after the deployment

Hello IBM Safer payment experts,

Recently we caused operational impact with false positive by wiping out few indexes in production.

Root cause analysis:

Few Indexes  were reset on 10/26 due to starting a configuration with a capacity being lower than the current max fill level. Those index sizes were previously increased in Production as they were approaching full. Those changes were not increased in Development environment for last weekends config deployment. Thus, the index data could not fit in the configuration when starting up production nodes resulting lost index data.

There were no error except one liner saying "The index is reset"

I would really request product should throw an error and stop the deployment as index is the core risk engine for historical lookup. Please see the case# TS017705909 for more details
