Just checking to see if there is any update this. we would like to have a normal user to be able to migrate notebook.
This has been a while. Can you please let us know if you have an update on this. We would like a normal consumer user to migrate notebook from one host to other when the notebook is stuck in tentative state.
Could you please let me know the status of this RFE.
Cluster admin observed that some host is very busy, but ego still allocates it to some service, which fails to start eventually (hangs in tentative state). Stopping and starting the service again, the same host will be allocated since it's not closed or blocked.
The document states (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSGSMK_7.1.1/shared_files/ego_cluster_fileref.html) thresholds can be set for internal and external resources in ego.cluster host section. Ego will close hosts when >1 thresholds are passed. But that is only for static hosts and mostly used by LSF. In most Conductor clusters, hosts are dynamically added. If this feature can be enhanced to support dynamic hosts in Conductor, it would be very useful.
