Add Spark3.2.0 with Java 11 support enabled

Spark 3.2.0 version have a lot of features which benefits market risk applications. The key enhancements to Query compilation/optimization/execution, shuffle efficiency, ORC upgrade will improve the Risk calculation, serving data to UI and running adhoc queries using spark. There are other updates, which will be utilized in near future.


These features will reduces the latency and memory foot print as well.

    As planned, the Spark 3.3.1 integration package for IBM Spectrum Conductor 2.5.1 has been delivered today and it is available for customers to download from IBM FixCentral.

    Spark v3.3. pluggable package planned for release by end of Q2.

    Please note, that it will be available only on top of latest IBM Spectrum Conductor version 2.5.1

    The decision had been already made for IBM Spectrum Conductor to have next implementation for Spark 3.3.x

    as the most advanced version which also uses latest log4j version 2.x (which is fixing the latest security vulnerabilities found in log4j libraries).

    Currently Spark community released version 3.3.0 (in June 2022) but because we have policy to adapt to Conductor only “non-zero” minor versions,

    so we’re waiting for Spark 3.3.1 release from community likely in the end of this year.
