RESERVE value

If "LOCAL_TO=clustername" is set to featurename@clustername, LS merge the reservation to featurename@clustername first.

For example,
could you look at the Use Case?

From the projectgroup vxlxsc_fnd_group, we can see that soc_root and lsi_root are 0.
From the projectgroup vxlxsc_group, we can see that soc_root and lsi_root are 60 11.

In the case, we can see the reserve value even if there is no share value of soc_root and lsi_root from the projectgroup vxlxsc_fnd_group.

And I heard that current LS design does not cover this case. It is decided by LS architecture. When jobs run, LSF reports license reservation data of whole cluster to LS, not for individual job. LS marks RESERVE to vxlxsce@cr1 first due to LOCAL_TO=cr1.

So we'll remove problematic projects which has 0% SHARE from vxlxsc_fnd_group.

However, the customer thinks that it is not correct for RESERVE to be recorded in a project without a share.

    We have considered this request and it is not something we are able to deliver in the future. If there is broad interest for this, it can be resubmitted in 18 months.
