Insert Application from LSF Applictaion Center Flow Editor

In order for us to use LSF Application Center Flow Editor, we need the feature "Insert Application" to be included in the product, just like it is the case today for Flow Editor's Windows Client.

From the case I opened about this problem, it appears this feature is currently not included since DEV is considering this feature as a local operation. From what I understand, DEV team states the server running PAC may not contains the application's XML definitions.

I personnaly believe this is not a good reason to prevent the implementation of this feature.

The application templates can be stored on a share filesystem accessible to any server. These templates are found from Process Manager JS.CONF parameter JS_TEMPLATE_DIR. When this directory is empty, the "Insert Application" is greyed out on Flow Editor client. Using this architecture, I don't see why PAC's Flow Editor could not do the same, no matter what server it is running on, since the templates would be accessible from any server.

Apologies for the delay in responding as it has taken quite a lot of time to assess this request, and the associated effort to implement. This would be a fairly substantial project to add this functionality into in the web portal, and cannot be contained with next service pack release cycle (due Nov19). This would need to be considered for the subsequent service pack, and possibly delivered as a standalone patch early in 2020.
