"Presently, License Scheduler, when placed in debug mode it becomes unstable, and will not respond to client requests due to all the blocking loops inside of the tool, including logging.
It also lacks TRACE levels that improve the tuning of debug used by support personnel to diagnose issues.
According to the development team, LSF today, already does logging async in a separate thread so that file I/O activities do not block the scheduling and customer response loop, part of this request would be to port that algo to License Scheduler.
However, the customer would like the ability to create a separate preemption log that logs what jobs were preempted for what projects.
In addition, with the lack of trace levels, it's hard to create tuned logging that does not significantly impact performance."
