FLexlm timeouts

The timeout define for license services is used both for collect timeout and lmstat (-t option) timeout.

can you please create a new field in the license service editor (${RTM_TOP}/cacti/plugins/license/lic_servers.php?action=edit&service_id=1) to define a separately the collect timeout and the lmstat timeout ?

    Olivier,

How does the Quorum timeout work if the first node in the LM_LICENSE_FILE variable is down? I would suspect that internally lmstat will attempt to contact the primary master, if it's down, goto the secondary, etc. I did not find clear documentation that indicates how timeout work inside a quorum. I am guessing something like:

    lmstat -c "port@s1,port@s2,port@s3" -t 1

Would timeout after 2 seconds since there must be at least two servers up. It might go three seconds just for good measure. Then, for the one server case:

    lmstat -c "port@s1" -t 1

Would timeout after 1 seconds. Can you please confirm this before we start our coding. I'll also followup via email.
