RELATED IDEAS

LSF reservation to capture new nodes

This is likely a feature request, but I am hoping some mechanism might already exist to accomplish this task. When putting an advance reservation in place (typically for maintenance), all nodes are never up in a system the size of Summit. However, before the reservation becomes active, nodes will likely recover but are not added to the reservation. Is there a mechanism to allow a reservation to dynamically add nodes from a group (say compute in our case) as they become available? We are accustomed to this feature in both Moab and SLURM.
