Currently the Session Manager and Service Director operate in the same CGROUP on the first execution host which causes a race condition that if a task on the first execution host pushes the memory use above the memory limit (aka mem-eater process), the entirety of the session will crash causing the loss of certain task information.
It would be nice if the Service Director and Session Manager can be separated from the Service Instances. A quick fix would be to use a single slot for the Service Director and Session Manager, and then we could limit the first host to a single slot and thus limit the exposure of the first processes to only a host OOM. Using something to the affect:
