Allow email characters in cluster usernames

When trying to logon to a cluster, you are prompted for a username, password, and API address. The username field will throw an error in the case that the input does not abide by the strict formatting requirements (A-Z, a-z, 0-9, "-", and "." only) as "Issue with User Payload". We would recommend a more helpful error message is provided.

We have two difficulties with this restriction:

1. When using certain authentication software (for example, OKTA) to manage users on a LSF cluster, usernames are by default formatted as email addresses.
2. Our current plan for issuing agentic AI credentials involves using email letterboxing (e.g for bob@sanger.ac.uk his agent_smith agent would be bob+agent_smith@sanger.ac.uk).
These necessarily include the characters "@" and "+"; characters not included in the allowed character set. Whilst we can workaround this by manually overriding the default usernames, it would be helpful if LSF had a way to process these characters (for example, extracting the username from email address formatted usernames and not restricting valid characters in email addresses where possible).
