Ascertain Reservable Numeric Shared resources inside custom plugin

We are using a custom LSF scheduler plugin for scheduling purposes.

We plan to use the pre reservation (greedy in particular) feature.

Here, some numeric shared resources are to be marked as reservable in LSF configuration (such numeric resources are used by our running jobs).

This will ensure eligible jobs can pre-reserve these resources beforehand.

Now, presently we don't have any LSF API which can tell us as to which set of numeric resources are marked as reservable.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Begin ReservationUsage

RESOURCE METHOD RESERVE

My_Numeric_Rsc1 - Y

My_Numeric_Rsc2 - Y

My_Numeric_Rsc3 - Y

End ReservationUsage

// In the above eg., each of My_Numeric_Rsc[1,2 & 3] should be returned

// as reservable.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the absence of such an API we are facing issues as to decide which running jobs' resource can be pre-reserved.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We need an LSF API similar to as described below:

/*

OUT: numNumericReservableRsc // number of reservable numeric LSF resources

OUT: char** listOfRsvNumericRsc // list of of reservable numeric LSF resources

*/

extsched_getReservableNumericRscInfo(int* numNumericReservableRsc, char** listOfRsvNumericRsc);

This should be callable from registered CheckAlloc() function for a job during its scheduling in a custom plugin.

We also would need a deallocation option to release any memory allocated internally for listOfRsvNumericRsc.

    Given this information would change very infrequently, it would be simpler to read it direct from the config, or create your own config file with a list of resources.
