This portal is to open public enhancement requests against products and services offered by the IBM Data & AI organization. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

We've made PDF documentation available on the LSF Wiki
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/wikis/home?lang=en#!/wiki/New%20IBM%20Platform%20LSF%20Wiki/page/LSF%20documentation
PDFs are really only convenient as a printable format. They are not accessible. They are not searchable (Google and the IBM Knowledge Center (KC) search engine cannot crawl them).
The IBM KC has had almost zero downtime in the last year so is effectively "always available".
IBM KC content for all LSF family products is available in a "customer installed" (CI) format for local offline use - it is available now with IBM Spectrum Application Centre Basic Edition. KC CI content is "always available" in exactly the same sense as PDFs are, with the added benefit of being fully searchable and accessible (unlike PDFs).
IBM KC is fully searchable and accessible. it can be updated in a matter of minutes rather than hours or days it would take to update PDF.
The KC is IBM's strategic documentation channel, and it will continue to improve in customization and personalization functions (like multiple-topic printing, saving content to collections, etc.)
The KC also as the ability to generate custom PDF's, however it appears that this functionality has been disabled in the current version of the KC backend (which we do not control).
As an interim solution, We will provide a one off PDF build of the documentation and make it available on SMC shortly
