GPU Compute Mode Management Through IBM Spectrum LSF

IBM Spectrum LSF has a view on several types of resources representing the configuration of the managed Compute Nodes.

In particular, LSF has a view on the number of GPUs available on nodes, as well as their Compute Mode (Default, Prohibited, Exclusive, Shared).

Based on this information, LSF can determine whether a user workload would fit on a given Compute Node, depending on the specific requirements for the job.

However, the GPU Compute Mode is something that is "manageable", in the sense that it can be easily changed to accommodate the user requirement.
There is indeed no reason why the GPU Compute Mode should be fixed forever.

Consequently, LSF should be able to act upon this setting in order to change the Compute Node configuration and make it match the user job requirements.
