We are looking for a way to generate the user credential for parent-child application via SYMREST API interface. Right now the sample VaR application can only work from WEBGUI and there is no CLI tool to generate the user credential in session create.json file. For instance:

"//comment": "2. number of days",
"//comment": "3. number of service instnaces for the session",
"//comment": "4. total simulations",
"//comment": "5. child session type",

It might not be possible to do this for Kerberos credentials for kerberos client. must provide user/password when creating child session or disable authentication for the app

Andrew,
Just like to clarify the requirement, you need an EGO credential(user/encrypted password) string, but do not know how to get it?
