I'm reaching out regarding an issue we're currently facing within the CM tribe related to IBM Spectrum Symphony. We are using version 7.3.2, which includes a Python middleware library called soamapi. However, in our current installation, this library is only available for Python 3.10 and earlier. Since it is distributed as a .pyc file, attempting to use it with a newer Python version results in compatibility issues due to mismatched bytecode "magic numbers." Given that Python 3.10 reaches end-of-life on October 31, 2026, we are concerned about initiating development on a platform with limited long-term support. Would it be possible to request an updated version of the soamapi library from IBM that supports more recent Python version 3.13?
