xsd files being flagged for having value set as 'unbounded'

xsd files being flagged for having value set as 'unbounded'

Please refer to case TS019607811

Our bank code adheres to usual code scan tools that flag any security or

vulnerabilities within code or configuration. As part of routine code

promotion journey, it was observed about '91' V5 breaks are raised

due to same core issue detailed below. These are raised from several

files which we manage within our baseline that we eventually use as

part of our MW stack automation.

bdw we do have Con2.5.1 and Sym 7.3.2 installed together in our

clusters.

Core problem is these .xsd files have setting 'maxOccurs' value to

'unbounded' attached in screenshot (V5

_

breaks.JPG). please see

attachment and advise what we should be using to address these V5

breaks as a tactical solution and also release a patch or feature

strategically to address this anomaly.

On this case, have been requesting for a very quick tactical solution

however was advised to open RFE only.

The proper values for maxOccurs in xsd files are varies, you could define it yourself and make sure the existing xml files still work.

There are a lot xsd files in use, this could be considered in future roadmap release, no target date yet.
