Need the support of inter-daemon security plugin to allow EGO_ACTIVITY_LEVEL_CREDENTIALS=enable_and_use_lifetime under the cluster in kerberos client disabled mode

We have a number of clusters which are running in kerberos client disabled mode. This type of cluster will authentication the client of any application with symphony default security plugin. At the same time, the cluster is also supporting inter-daemon security plugin. The problem with this EGO_ACTIVITY_LEVEL_CREDENTIALS=enable_and_use_lifetime is that, with both client auth with symphony default plugin and inter-daemon security plugin enabled, this lift-long ego activity level credentials is not supported. 
We need to have this feature under both client default security plugin and inter-daemon security plugin are all enabled...

    Hi Andrew, can you describe the specific issue you are having due to activity-level credentials not being supported for the inter-daemon security plugin? What inter-daemon plugin are you using?

    Activity-level credentials are not supported for Kerberos. They only work for sec_ego_default and the custom plugin. My understanding is that Kerberos doesn't need activity-level credentials, it has scoped, time-limited service authentication which needs to be refreshed periodically by the service.
