The customer is running real time big data analytics application on Symphony SOA grid, the application has 3 characters:
1. large task input size(2.5MB)
2. low latency, task round trip is 100ms
3. fast recovery, tasks recover time less than 5s in case any node fail, better to recover in 2s. The nodes includes management nodes, compute nodes and client nodes.
Cluster size: 400 nodes, 6000 cores.
Currently, #1 and #2 ok for Symphony. But #3 is not ok.
Customer has evaluated RedHat MRG and Open Source QPID, both can meet the 3 requirements.
