[Cloud][SMC] - support compute hosts running in cloud (proxy)

add support for attaching compute hosts running on external cloud to managment hosts within our corporate datacenter. this must meet the constraint that no inbound connections may be initiated from the cloud instances. You may need to add cloud vendor hooks to enable you to get the IP addresses of the cloud compute hosts.

If inbound connections are a requirement, then i suggest that you introduce a proxy service that can run in our DMZ. We would then allow inbound connections from the compute instances to the proxy service, and would allow connections from our intranet managment hosts to the proxy service. This proxy service could act as an SSM.
