Windows 2016 is added in Symphony v7.2.0.2 in Q4-2017.
This RFE's Headline was changed after submission to reflect the headline of an internal request we were already considering, but will now track here.
We are planning support for Windows 2016 as part of our Symphony v7.2.0.2 in Q4-2017.
Further business justification:
Our current Windows Server 2008 R2 support will end at the end of 2019 and we're planning to upgrade to Windows Server 2016 (RX if available) directly by that time. Currently there is no plan for Symphony to support Windows Server 2016, which will block us for the upgrade.
It cannot be that in the year 2019 customers are forced to install a then 8 year old OS just to please to the middleware. Please ensure that reasonably current OSs are supported by the time of Symphony releases.
