Update Line Items in Resource Plan via CLI/API

I am requesting the capability to update line items in a traditional resource plan via CLI/API. This would include updating the owned slots, share ratio, slot maximum for a specific consumer path and specific time period in the resource plan. The existing 'egosh consumer applyresplan' option only supports restoring the resource plan in its entirety from backup taken via the export command.

So I am requesting something like the following:
egosh consumer modifyresplan [CONSUMER_PATH] -time_period hh-hh -owned_slots nnn -share_ratio nnn -slot_maximum nnn
where
hh-hh - start and end hour of the time period in the resource plan to update. If the time period doesn't exist the command fails. If this option isn't provided then the update applies to all time periods
nnn- number of slots, ratio or slot maximum
