AWS_MSK_IAM SASL_MECHANISM support for Kafka stages

Ability to use connections to connect to Kafka endpoint, access provided through IAM role via the AWS_MSK_IAM SASL mechanism.

Currently, Kafka stages allows Security Protocol=CUSTOM for manually configuring Java Properties for the Kafka Client, but in order to configure the stage to authentication via AWS_MSK_IAM, the following is needed:

    security.protocol="SASL_SSL"
    sasl.mechanism="AWS_MSK_IAM"
    sasl.jaas.config="software.amazon.msk.auth.iam.IAMLoginModule required;"
    sasl.login.callback.handler.class="software.amazon.msk.auth.iam.IAMClientCallbackHandler"

 

There are several additional AWS SDK dependencies which are needed to use these IAMLoginModule and IAMClientCallbackHandler classes which are not included in and SDC core or stage libraries, and adding these libraries as External Resources is not something which we can guarantee to be compatible with the other AWS libraries which SDC includes. Is it possible to get this additional security protocol supported in SDC?
