[Customer-HCA-Parallon] Projects Feature: Allow sharing of organization level infrastructure assets with projects

Projects feature was recently enabled for HCA-Parallon organization.

  • They are planning to create environments, deployments and engines at top organization level and share these with projects so that their teams can share the infra resources. They understand the complete separation implemented at this point, but (a) they do not plan to provision separate engines for each project, (b) they do not have the required competency within the teams to manage their own infra.

  • They also want to be able to create connections and fragments that can be shared from org level to projects.

This is not currently possible on Platform -> Projects feature .

This is likely a very valid requirement for many customers who want to open up organization level assets to specific projects. (The customers who want complete separation of all assets using projects should be still able to do so by not sharing any organization level assets with any projects).

HCA also has requested enabling Projects feature, and I anticipate them having similar questions.

Hope this is taken up on priority.
