StreamSets Job Transfer to Different Engines

Currently we have various deployment and Data Collector Engines and at time due to Engine not responding, or creating a new version, or changing configuration on the Engine, we have to restart or replace an Engine, this process is not straight forward, as we have to kill/Stop every job before we restart the engine which on production is risky and brings major disruption.

It will be good to have a transfer/move feature, where by we select jobs on a specific engines and move them to another, leaving us free to restart, destroy, or re-configure that engines.

Hi Shirwan, jobs will automatically be transferred from unresponsive/deleted engines to available engines within a deployment so long as you have "Enable failover" selected in the job configuration page - you can read more in our docs here
