Automatically clean up old job instances

CBRE has lots of old job instances as a result of frequent Kubernetes redeployments to deal with a separate product defect related to jobs being stuck in an ACTIVATING state. They were trying to delete them iteratively through the UI but kept hitting timeouts, so we've given them an SDK script to deal with that, but they would also like to see an enhancement added to the produce whereby old job instances would automatically be deleted, say anything older than 30 days. Ideally, this threshold would also be configurable, and if Projects is enabled and being used, also configurable at the project level, not just at the org level.

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you for creating this ticket. We understand the customer's concern but a solution that automatically deletes jobs after a certain number of days seems dangerous and is likely not something we would want to implement. We would be happy to set up a call with the customer to better understand their needs and see if there might be a more suitable solution
