Support list in field mapping for MongoDB Lookup Stage

Customer has raised a request to specify list (array) in the “SDC field” while defining Document to SDC Field Mappings in MongoDB atlas lookup processor stage.

  • Usually we specify field names for mapping but here we require to fetch the records where field matches a list of values instead of one value.
  • In MongoDb cluster we give query filter as below to match the field with multiple values of the document.
{ _id: { $in: ["value 1", "value 2"], .... } }
  • Customer wants to avoid multiple requests to be made to MongoDB so they are looking to pass multiple _ids of documents in List of arrays while mapping SDC field in MongoDB Atlas Lookup processor.
  • They want only one request to be made to MongoDB which will return all the documents which matches the List of _ids passed in SDC field and result in one record.
  • SDC version is 5.10.0
