Improve the User Interface of SPSS to be as User Friendly as JMP

Making the user interface do more and easier to use would broaden the market for SPSS. Some examples of things you can do in the user interface of JMP that would be good to add to SPSS: Automatically name dummy variables to reflect the different values that the source variable has. Add the ability to create sequence transformations of dummy variables times a numeric variable, with appropriate names for the resulting new variables. Add the ability to view and edit a variable formula after it has been saved. Add the ability to expand the regression variable selection window so that you can easily see the entire variable name. Add the ability to add and subtract variables in stepwise regression without restarting the regression. Add the ability to exclude rows of data from an analysis without cutting them out completely.
